This project is currently an AC power transmission and transformation project with the highest operating voltage level, the most advanced technology level in the world, and my country's completely independent intellectual property rights. .

According to the relevant person in charge of the State Grid Corporation of China, the localization rate of equipment in this project has reached 90%, which means that my country has fully mastered the core technology of UHV AC power transmission and has the mass production capacity of UHV AC equipment.

In addition, through this engineering practice, State Grid Corporation of China has, for the first time in the world, researched and proposed a UHV AC transmission technology standard system consisting of 77 standards in 7 categories. It has revised 1 national standard, issued 15 national standards and 73 enterprise standards. Standard, 431 patents have been accepted (237 authorized), establishing my country's international leading position in the field of UHV transmission technology research, equipment manufacturing, engineering design, construction and operation.

On July 8 this year, the Xiangjiaba-Shanghai 800 kV UHV DC power transmission demonstration project was successfully put into operation, one and a half years after the successful operation of this UHV AC transmission demonstration project. So far, my country has entered the era of UHV AC and DC hybrid, and preparations for the construction of UHV power grids have been completed.

"Three vertical, three horizontal and one ring network" will be realized

The reporter learned from the State Grid Corporation that the "three vertical, three horizontal and one ring network" in the company's UHV "Twelfth Five-Year" plan refers to the three vertical special energy bases from Ximeng, Mengxi, Zhangbei and northern Shaanxi. The high-voltage AC channel transmits power to "Sanhua", and the northern coal power and southwest hydropower transmit power to the UHV ring network in North China, Central China and the Yangtze River Delta through three horizontal UHV AC channels. Among them, the "three verticals" are Ximeng-Nanjing, Zhangbei-Nanchang, and northern Shaanxi-Changsha; the "three horizontals" are the three horizontal transmission channels of Mengxi-Weifang, Jinzhong-Xuzhou, and Ya'an-Wannan; "It is Huainan-Nanjing-Taizhou-Suzhou-Shanghai-North Zhejiang-Southern Anhui-Huainan Yangtze River Delta UHV double ring network. In terms of UHVDC projects, during the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, we will cooperate with the development of Southwest Hydropower, Northwest North China Coal Power and Wind Power Bases, build Jinping-Jiangsu and other II-loop UHVDC transmission projects, and complete the Qinghai-Tibet DC interconnection project to meet the needs of Tibet. Power supply, realize the interconnection between Tibet power grid and northwest main grid.



The goal of the State Grid Corporation of China is to build the “Sanhua” UHV synchronous power grid as the center, the Northeast UHV power grid and the Northwest 750kV power grid as the transmission terminals, and connect the major coal power bases, large hydropower bases, and large nuclear power grids by 2020. Bases, large renewable energy bases, and strong smart grids with coordinated development of power grids at all levels.

Analysts said that under this plan, the investment scale of UHV will reach 270 billion yuan in the next five years. This is more than 13 times more than the 20 billion yuan investment during the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period. During the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, it will become an important stage for the development of my country's UHV power grid.

Strong transmission capacity to create a strong smart grid

According to estimates, by 2020, the western coal power base plans to send 234 million kilowatts of coal power to the central and eastern regions, of which 197 million kilowatts will be sent through the UHV AC and DC grid. Shanxi and northern Shaanxi coal power is sent out through UHV AC, Mengxi, Ximeng, Ningdong coal power is sent out through UHV AC and DC hybrid, Xinjiang and Mengdong coal power are sent to "North China, East China and Central China" through UHV DC Grid transmission.

In addition to traditional coal power, UHV will also undertake the task of hydropower transmission. At the same time, by means of the transmission channel of the coal power base to transmit wind power, and to send power to the "Sanhua" power grid by means of wind and fire bundling, it can realize the consumption of wind power in the west in a wider range and promote the large-scale development of renewable energy such as wind power. use.
